Ridhi Sidhi Lam
Ridhi Sidhi Laminated Glass is a safety and security glass that is made by sandwiching a PVB sheet between two or more pieces of glass. The PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) sheet in the middle of the glass helps in sticking the glass pieces to it when the glass is broken. The key to laminated glass is that PVB is not joined but “conjoined”. The laminated glass is designed to prevent it from shattering into pieces and thus ensures safety. This produces a characteristic “spider web” cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass.
In geographical areas requiring hurricane-resistant construction, such glasses are recommended.
